The All Whites have ended their unbeaten streak at the Football World Cup with a loss to Egypt.A 3-1 loss in Vancouver, Canada on Monday was a result the All Whites will be disappointed with.A 15th minute goal from centre-back Finn Surman put the All Whites in front from an unlikely source.Surman's header from a set piece was his third goal for New Zealand.The Portland Timbers defender had played the most minutes of any All White since New Zealand had qualified for the World Cup and was more known for his defensive qualities than being an attacking target.The 1-0 lead at halftime was the first time the All Whites had been ahead at the main break in a World Cup match.After the break Egypt upped the pressure and took control of the game.The Pharaohs leveled the score in the 58th minute via Mostafa Zico when the All Whites did not pick up a cross into the box.Egypt took the lead though Mohamed Salah in the 67th minute as the captain calmly slotted into the back of Max Crocombe's goal.A diving header from substitute Trezeguet in the 82nd minute secured Egypt's first win at the World Cup for the world no. 28 side.Egypt now go to the top of Group G as the only side to have won a game.
