"Gaël & Friends": spend an evening with Gaël Monfils on 21 May

1
Poised to be both spectacular and deeply emotional, the 2026 edition of the Parisian Grand Slam promises to be unmissable for many reasons. Beyond witnessing the on‑court exploits of the stars of the WTA and ATP Tours, this iconic event will also offer fans the chance to celebrate Gaël Monfils in fitting style, as he prepares to make his final appearances on the clay of Porte d’Auteuil.

But that’s not all. On Thursday 21 May at 7:30 pm, the French tennis legend will be given carte blanche to light up Court Philippe‑Chatrier during an exceptional evening event, with all proceeds donated to several charitable organisations. To be part of the celebration, secure your tickets this Thursday 16 April at 2:00 pm, exclusively on the official Roland‑Garros ticketing website.

Showtime!

His trademark smile, explosive forward runs, devastating forehands, airborne smashes and unique ability to lift a crowd will be sorely missed by the sport. But before bidding farewell to professional tennis at the end of the season, Gaël Monfils intends to savour every moment on court, especially at home, at Roland‑Garros. And beyond his final official matches, the semi‑finalist of the 2008 edition has prepared a very special surprise for his fans.

On Thursday 21 May, during the Opening Week, Monfils will host an extraordinary evening blending tennis, music and showmanship. For the occasion, “La Monf’” will be surrounded by current stars of the game as well as close friends and former companions Richard Gasquet and Jo‑Wilfried Tsonga.

To set the festive mood, renowned DJ Martin Solveig and rapper‑dancer Franglish will take turns raising the temperature, under the guidance of singer Matt Pokora and comedian Paul de Saint‑Sernin, who will serve as masters of ceremony for the event. Interactive segments and multiple surprises will punctuate this charity evening, with proceeds benefiting Terre d’Impact, the FFT’s fundraising foundation, as well as several partner charities, including KELINA, founded by Flora Coquerel, and the Epic Foundation.

To make sure you don’t miss a moment of this unifying celebration – which will also be broadcasted live on the official Roland‑Garros YouTube channel and across various broadcaster platforms – book your tickets this Thursday 16 April at 2:00 pm via the official Roland‑Garros ticketing website.
