The Lawn Tennis Association of Thailand (LTAT) has hailed the progress of its leading players following notable rises in the latest world rankings.

LTAT President Suchai Pornchaisakudom on Tuesday praised the achievements, describing them as evidence of Thailand's growing presence on the international stage.

In the men's doubles, Prachya Isaro broke into the top 100 for the first time, climbing four places in the ATP rankings.

Suchai called the milestone "a proud moment" for Thai tennis.

On the women's side, Lanlana Tararudee advanced eight places to world No.91 after reaching the second round at Wimbledon 2026.

Mananchaya Sawangkaew also impressed, surging 51 places to No.113 following her run to the third round in London. Mananchaya had previously been ranked inside the top 100 before a lengthy absence caused by a back injury.

Thailand's emerging talent is also making its mark at junior level.

Seventeen‑year‑old Kunanan Pantarathorn is currently ranked No.62 in the world junior standings, underlining the depth of promise within the national programme.

Suchai emphasised the role of both family support and LTAT backing in these successes, adding that the association has invested in its academy system, covering costs such as travel, visas and tournament fees to ensure players can compete internationally.

"In the past, the LTAT has tried to lay the foundations and build athletes at every level through continuous competition," Suchai said.

"I congratulate all four players and hope they will continue to improve their rankings."

The latest results mark a significant step forward for Thai tennis, with the LTAT keen to sustain the momentum and nurture the next generation of players on the global stage.
