Ghana will struggle at the World Cup due to Otto Addo's sacking - Prophet Telvin

Ghanaian prophet Telvin Sowah has disclosed that the Ghana Football Association’s decision to dismiss Otto Addo spells doom for the team ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

According to him, in the spiritual realm, there was a pact that required the former Borussia Dortmund scout to lead the team to the Mundial with low expectations, but eventually excel.

The prophet stated that since the GFA ignored his advice to retain Otto Addo, the pact has been broken, and the Black Stars may end up with a disappointing campaign.

“We are just preparing to go and dance in America and return. I knew it, that is why I told them not to touch the coach. I knew that once they were done, they’d remove him. The principle was that we had to go to the Mundial underappreciated, then we would rise out of the dust.”

"But now they have broken the principle. If it doesn’t happen, the rest is to grind to the top, but you can’t do that against England or Croatia,” he told Accra FM in an interview.

He also indicated that the new Black Stars coach, Carlos Queiroz, will not meet expectations and warned that some key players might lose their positions if they do not position themselves well.

“The coach they have brought will come and play drawn games. Benjamin Asare, who was helping too, might be taken out. Some people should start calling before they give out their positions,” he added.
