Boulter and de Minaur took a different path. They married in England, near where she grew up, and on the day Jannik Sinner won the 2026 Wimbledon men’s final.

What if Boulter or de Minaur made it to the Wimbledon finals

The big question is was this date set in stone. Everyone knew they were set to marry, but no one expected it until after Wimbledon.

Boulter and de Minaur were in the Wimbledon draws and potentially could have played on July 11 and 12, if they made the finals.

De Minaur looked very dejected after his fourth round loss to Flavio Cobolli on July 6. He was disappointed in his game and did not give off vibes that he was about to be married in a few days. De Minaur looked like he wished he would have a chance to play for a maiden Grand Slam title on July 12.

Boulter lost in the first round on June 30 to Italian Tyra Caterina Grant. Teamed with Heather Watson, she lost her first round doubles match on July 2. The Wimbledon women’s singles final was on July 11 and the women’s doubles final was on July 12.

A private wedding

We know it was a small event and that the bride looked radiant.

Wishing Mr. and Mrs. de Minaur the best on and off the court, and we will see them soon on court as both ramp up for next month’s US Open.
