British No 8 and world No 159 Jacob Fearnley was one of the country’s wild card entries for Wimbledon, with fans hopeful that the 24-year-old player would bring a victory on home soil. Fearnley reached the second round of Wimbledon men’s singles, winning against world No 46 Alex Michelsen after a match that lasted three-and-a-half hours. However, he was unfortunately defeated in the second round by world No 44 Jaume Munar.

Cheering Fearnley on was his long-time girlfriend, Keagan Polk, who’s from Texas. Polk was visibly overcome with emotion after the first round match, showing her pride for her boyfriend. “It was a really great turnaround and he came from not maybe playing the way he wanted to, to playing the player that’s very good on the grass and competing. So it was great,” Polk told the Mirror.

So, who exactly is Jacob Fearnley’s supportive girlfriend? Here’s what we know.

Keagan Polk was a student athlete in university

Born in February 2003, 23-year-old Polk attended Texas Christian University (TCU), graduating with a bachelor’s degree in business administration in 2024 before finishing her master’s of professional accounting the next year.

While she was in college, Polk was also an active student athlete, playing for both the university’s women’s volleyball and beach volleyball teams. She was the captain of the beach volleyball team throughout her undergraduate career.

“I realised I was surrounded by people who never needed me to prove anything,” wrote Polk in an Instagram post. “That’s the blessing of college sports – the people.”
