The most successful side in KFC BBL history will launch the tournament against the equal most successful side in PSL history, with Qalanders having won three of the past four editions of the tournament.As well as the Qalanders, Scorchers XI will face off against Major League Cricket side San Francisco Unicorns, reigning GSL champions Guyana Amazon Warriors and reigning ILT 20 champions Desert Vipers throughout the nine-day tournament.The side will have less than 24 hours between their final two matches, taking on Desert Vipers on July 28 and Guyana Amazon Warriors on July 29.The 2026 edition marks the third time the tournament has been held, with Rangpur Riders taking out the inaugural edition in 2024, before Guyana Amazon Warriors won last year.This year’s tournament will once again see the teams compete for US$1 million (approximately A$1.41 million) in prize money.All matches will be played at the iconic Providence Stadium in Guyana.BBL|03 title-winning captain and Scorchers great Simon Katich will assume the role of stand-in Head Coach of the Scorchers XI, with Adam Voges unavailable due to commitments with Trent Rockets in The Hundred.PERTH SCORCHERS XI FIXTURES FOR 2026 GSLThursday 23 July vs Lahore Qalanders.
