Laulilii posted an emotional message on social media thanking the Tigers and fans for their support.

“Thank you to everyone at the Wests Tigers for the opportunities, the memories, and the people who made this chapter so special,” he wrote.

“I’ve learned so much, grown both on and off the field, and I’ll always be thankful for everyone who believed in and supported me along the way.

“To my teammates, coaches, staff, and everyone behind the scenes thank you.

“I’ll always appreciate everything you’ve done for me.”

The winger has scored 10 tries in 17 NRL games across his career, including six in eight matches this season.

Meanwhile, Riley Price, son of former Warrior Steve Price, has been signed on a development contract to the end of 2026 and will move into the top 30 squad next year.

“It’s exciting for us having Riley back at the club he knows so well from his time living in Auckland when his father was here,” McFadden said.

“Riley has tasted NRL football and gained a lot of experience playing in the Queensland Cup and New South Wales Cup.

“He has terrific footballing pedigree through his father and will bring a lot to our squad with his professional attitude and work ethic.

“It’s also a thrill seeing the next generation coming through with yet another son of one of our former players joining the club.”

Riley moved from Auckland to Australia when he was 15, later playing for the Townsville Blackhawks and eventually playing for North Queensland and the Penrith Panthers in the NRL.

The Warriors’ next fixture comes on July 10 against Laulilii’s former team Wests Tigers, who beat the New Zealand-based side 32-14 at Go Media Stadium earlier this season.

The Warriors currently sit second on the NRL ladder, equal on 24 points with the Dolphins, Roosters and Knights who each trail the table-topping Panthers on 28 points.
