Liverpool has been told how much it could cost to land Yan Diomande's signature this summer as the club weighs up a second offer.

The Athletic claims that RB Leipzig would consider a higher bid in excess of $148 million (€130M), having rejected the Reds' first offer of around $115 million (€100M).

The 19-year-old remains Liverpool's primary target this summer, although the Reds are said to have drawn up a list of potential alternatives should an agreement not be reached with Leipzig, which includes Brighton's Yankuba Minteh and Cologne’s Said El Mala.

Aston Villa is said to be eyeing a move for West Ham winger Jarrod Bowen this summer.

As reported by The Athletic, Villa has made its interest in Bowen known, though no formal talks between the two clubs have yet taken place. The winger has been previously linked with Liverpool, having been a known favorite of former Reds boss Jurgen Klopp.

It is further reported that West Ham would hold out for a fee of around £50 million ($66 million) for Bowen, despite the club's drop to the second tier.

Liverpool has got four transfer alternatives in mind as it steps up its pursuit of Yan Diomande this summer.

According to The Athletic, Liverpool is now weighing up whether to return with a higher bid for the 19-year-old, but also has a number of other options under consideration should it not be able to reach an agreement with RB Leipzig.

The report confirms that Brighton’s Yankuba Minteh, Cologne’s Said El Mala and Lille’s Matias Fernandez-Pardo are all being looked at, with the trio having been previously touted elsewhere.

There has also been some interest in West Ham’s Crysencio Summerville, although nothing has progressed on that front, while Liverpool is also said to admire Paris Saint-Germain’s Bradley Barcola, who has been linked with a move to the Reds and Arsenal.

Reports in France are suggesting that Liverpool may have beaten Paris Saint-Germain to the signing of Yan Diomande.

French outlet MediaFoot is claiming that PSG has “thrown in the towel”, clearing the way for Liverpool. The club’s football advizor Luis Campos is said to have consulted with both Leipzig and Diomande, but has turned down the chance to sign him.

Leipzig’s asking price is claimed to exceed PSG’s budget, with the Ligue 1 champions refusing to get involved in a bidding war.

What’s more, it’s claimed that Liverpool has reached an agreement with Diomande’s representatives, and all that remains is to agree a fee with Leipzig.

Liverpool and Arsenal both held an interest in Norwegian teenager Eirik Granaas ahead of the summer, according to Correio da Manha.

However, Porto appears to have won the race for one of Scandinavia’s most highly-rated young midfielders.

The 16-year-old is already in Portugal to complete a transfer move from Fredrikstad, . The youngster is set to undergo medical tests before signing his contract with the Portuguese side.

Lucas Bergvall's camp has begun talks with clubs as they explore his options this summer, according to Fabrizio Romano.

The midfielder has told Tottenham he wants to leave the club during the window, and is said to be open to discussions ahead of a potential transfer.

Liverpool has been previously linked with the Swedish international, and the Reds are likely to be in the market for a new midfielder this summer.

Bayern Munich has received confirmation from Michael Olise's representatives that no talks have been held with Real Madrid, according to Sky Germany's Florian Plettenberg.

The French international has been linked with Liverpool as well, although it looks highly unlikely that the Reds will be able to land him without well and truly breaking the bank.

Olise is said to have not expressed any desire to leave Bayern, with work going on behind the scenes on a contract extension.

Liverpool has not given a green light for Cody Gakpo to leave the club this summer, according to Fabrizio Romano.

The forward has been linked with a move away from Anfield following the signing of Victor Munoz, and Tottenham has been touted as a possible landing spot.

Romano confirms that Spurs are interested, but Liverpool is said to still be happy with Gakpo, and will not rush into any decision over his future.

Real Madrid is keeping a close eye on Ayyoub Bouaddi, according to Spanish outlet AS, with the Morocco midfielder also being linked with Liverpool.

Bouaddi has caught the eye after impressing against Brazil on his tournament debut at just 18, with the Reds and Arsenal both being linked with his services.

Real are also said to be in the mix, with AS claiming that the player's camp is in no doubt that his future lies away from current club Lille.

The Reds are said to be at "completely different stages" with both players, with a bid having already been sent for Diomande, but Liverpool is claimed to be discussing Barcola "every single week".

It's suggested that, if PSG opens the door to an exit for the winger, Liverpool could make a move.
