College football live updates, score: Texas rallies past Ohio State in thriller; OK State stuns Oregon

It's only Week 2 and we have our first big upset of the college football season.

No. 6 Oregon was stunned on the road at Oklahoma State on Saturday, 39-31. The Ducks were favored by 24.5 points going into the game, but the Cowboys took an early lead and didn't take their foot off the pedal. Drew Mestemaker and Co. piled up 554 yards in the upset win.

The main event of the day between No. 1 Ohio State and No. 4 Texas also delivered, but it took a tremendous late rally from the Longhorns to even make it a game after a listless first three quarters. Texas rallied back from a 23-3 deficit with under seven minutes left in the fourth quarter to win, 24-23.

It was an incredible comeback for the Longhorns as Hollywood Smothers leaped at the goal line with just 25 seconds left to score and then Gianni Spetic hit the extra point to give them the win. Arch Manning led the rally despite some early struggles and finished 23-of-37 with 196 passing yards and a TD.

Michigan got things started early with the first signature win of Kyle Whittingham's tenure, holding off No. 11 Oklahoma 17-10 in a defensive slugfest. The Wolverines kept Sooners QB John Mateer in check (17 of 33, 189 passing yards, 1 TD, 1 INT) and used its ground game to eke out the big win.
