A seven-member Indian team will compete for medals across four tennis events at the Asian Games 2026 in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan, from September 27 to October 3 with all matches to be held at the Higashiyama Park Tennis Center.

Indian tennis players will be involved in four of the five medal events - men's singles, men's doubles, women's doubles and mixed doubles - with no entries in women's singles at the 20th Asian Games.

Singles events at the Asian Games 2026 will carry special significance, with both the men's and women's singles champions at Aichi-Nagoya earning an Olympic quota place for the LA 2028 subject to meeting qualification criteria.

Sumit Nagal, seeded seventh, and Dhakshineswar Suresh, seeded 11th, will carry India’s singles challenge at Aichi-Nagoya 2026.

Rutuja Bhosale, a mixed doubles gold medallist from Hangzhou 2023, pairs up with Ankita Raina in the women's doubles and are seeded eighth, while top seeds Anirudh Chandrasekar-N Sriram Balaji and fifth seeds Yuki Bhambri-Dhakshineswar Suresh form the two men's doubles pairs.

In mixed doubles, Yuki Bhambri and Rutuja Bhosale team up as second seeds while Ankita Raina pairs up with N Sriram Balaji as fourth seeds.

At the last edition of the continental showpiece, the mixed doubles pair of Rohan Bopanna and Rutuja Bhosale claimed gold while Ramkumar Ramanathan and Saketh Myneni took silver in the men's doubles.
