Norgaard ready to reject interest in favour of Arsenal stay

Christian Norgaard is determined to remain at Arsenal next season, despite interest from rival clubs.

Norgaard signed for Arsenal from Brentford last summer but struggled for a regular role under Mikel Arteta.

The former Denmark international made only one Premier League start and totalled just 106 minutes of action during the club's title-winning campaign.

Despite that, the 32-year-old wants to see out his Arsenal contract, which expires in 2027. The midfielder is content with life in London, having settled in the capital during seven seasons with Brentford and Arsenal combined.

Norgaard retired from international football in 2026, where he cited a desire to spend more time with his family.

According to Arsenal insider Hand of Arsenal, Norgaard is ready to reject approaches from clubs in the United Arab Emirates to remain at the Emirates.
