Adam Walton vs Nick Kyrgios prediction

Adam Walton qualified for the tournament after two straight set victories. He attempted to do the same at Queen’s Club last week, but he lost to Henry Wendelken. The Australian has reached two finals on the Challenger Tour this season, winning a title in Tyler at the beginning of this month.

He will face Nick Kyrgios. The Australian was drawn to face Ben Shelton in the first-round of the Halle Open, but he pulled out of the event due to a right knee injury. The 2022 Wimbledon finalist had made his long-awaited return in Stuttgart a week earlier, beating Corentin Moutet in his opening match but then losing to Sho Shimabukuro.

Yet again, there is a huge question mark over the fitness of Kyrgios ahead of this event. However, he is far more proven on this surface compared to Walton. If he is able to hold comfortably with his strong first serve, Walton will be limited in terms of creating opportunities.
