It is set to be a busy training complex as Tottenham Hotspur's players start filing back for pre-season work under Roberto De ZerbiNew signings Sandro Tonali and Mateus Fernandes are likely to be among the early bunch of Tottenham stars to return to Hotspur Way next week for pre-season training.Tonali's arrival will complete a £185million midfield double swoop to inject quality into Roberto De Zerbi's squad and send a statement to the rest of the Premier League that Spurs are looking to compete with their transfer record smashed twice in a week and spending £100million on one player. The other bonus of signing both midfielders is that neither have World Cup commitments so will be available from the start of pre-season to work with De Zerbi unless the Italian gives them an extra day or two off due to interrupting their holidays to come in for the transfer formalities.Otherwise they will be back at Hotspur Way with those Spurs players returning to the Enfield training complex in stages for pre-season from Friday July 10 for medical and physical testing and gym work. They will then launch into full work on the training pitches with De Zerbi and his coaching staff from Monday July 13 ahead of a Premier League season which begins later this year due to the World Cup.The other earlier returnees to training will be James Maddison and Dominic Solanke along with Conor Gallagher, Archie Gray, Richarlison, Mathys Tel, Destiny Udogie, Ben Davies, Souza, Antonin Kinsky, Guglielmo Vicario, Radu Dragusin and Brandon Austin.Mohammed Kudus and Dejan Kulusevski will be involved when they are fit to return from the long-term injuries that dashed their World Cup hopes, while Wilson Odobert and Xavi Simons will not be back until the turn of the year from their ACL injuries.FOLLOW OUR TOTTENHAM FB PAGE! Andy Robertson, Rodrigo Bentancur, Micky van de Ven, Jan Paul van Hecke, Lucas Bergvall, Kevin Danso and Pape Matar Sarr have all now exited the tournament so will return in stages, with three weeks the required minimum break after summer international football.Luka Vuskovic is set to complete his £50million move to Brighton so despite Croatia's elimination at the hands of Portugal, the 19-year-old will not be returning to Spurs.
