Team World Captain Andre Agassi has completed his six-man lineup for Laver Cup London 2026, with World No.18 Learner Tien and World No.24 Tommy Paul joining World No.5 Ben Shelton, World No.6 Alex de Minaur, World No.7 Taylor Fritz, and World No.11 Alexander Bublik.

With Tien and Paul now confirmed, Team World will field its strongest lineup by ranking to date when the defending champions face Team Europe as the Laver Cup returns to The O2 in London from September 25-27, 2026.

Paul returns for his third Laver Cup campaign after previously representing Team World as an alternate in the team’s breakthrough victory in London in 2022 before contributing to the dominant win in Vancouver in 2023. The American was also selected for San Francisco in 2025 but was forced to withdraw following injury. Since his return, he has re-established himself among the ATP Tour’s most consistent performers across all surfaces, winning titles in Houston this season and reaching finals in Delray Beach, Hamburg, and Queen’s Club, London.

“I am so pumped for the opportunity to compete for Team World in London,” said Paul. “I was disappointed to miss out on playing under Andre and Pat Rafter in San Francisco, so I’m thrilled to be back. I’ve experienced what makes the Laver Cup so special and there’s nothing quite like sharing the bench with these guys.”

Tien will make his Laver Cup debut after a rapid rise up the rankings. The 20-year-old Californian has climbed into the world’s top 20 after reaching the quarterfinals of the Australian Open earlier this year, becoming the youngest man to reach the last eight in Melbourne since 2015. The Next Gen ATP Finals champion claimed his maiden ATP title in Metz last year before adding a second title in Geneva in May.

“It’s a huge honor to be selected by Andre and it’s very special for me to represent Team World,” said Tien. “Tennis is so often an individual sport so being a part of a team is something I never take for granted. I’ve been watching Laver Cup since I was 11 years old and I can’t wait to experience the incredible atmosphere of the event as a player.”

Agassi said the additions of Paul and Tien would add further depth to Team World’s lineup.

“Tommy and Learner are fantastic additions to our team,” said Agassi. “Tommy brings valuable Laver Cup experience and understands what it takes to compete and win in this environment, while Learner has quickly established himself as one of the most exciting young players in the game. Together they complete a very strong and well-balanced team, and I’m excited to see what this group can achieve in London.”

While Team World is now complete, Captain Yannick Noah is still to fill the two remaining places on Team Europe. Noah has already named World No. 2 Carlos Alcaraz, World No. 3 Alexander Zverev, World No. 10 Flavio Cobolli and World No. 17 Jakub Mensik to his squad.

The 2026 edition marks the Laver Cup’s return to London and The O2, the venue for one of the most iconic moments in tennis history when Roger Federer played the final match of his career alongside his great rival Rafael Nadal and fellow “Big Four” members Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray in 2022.

With Team World having claimed three of the last four Laver Cup titles, the rivalry between Europe and the World is set to be as intense as ever, with another fiercely contested showdown anticipated in London. Fans can expect world-class matchups, never-before-seen doubles pairings and the unique spectacle of rivals becoming teammates on the Laver Cup’s signature black court.

Tickets, hospitality packages, and premium experiences are available now via AXS, the official ticketing partner of The O2.
