Great hustle from Edwards, he looks perfectly suited to the Swans despite only playing a handful of games so far.

The Swans will be hugely relieved to go into the sheds at eight points down, having found themselves 33 points down in the second quarter.

The Swans have played some of their worst football of the year, but somehow are still in this game.

A lack of accuracy with disposals have proven costly and the normally laconic and genial Dean Cox may need his first major spray of the year to shake his side out of the slumber.

The Swans have ended the half in burning hot form kicking four-straight goals in a matter of minutes with Charlie Curnow booting a close-range goal a minute before the siren.

Joel Amartey’s pressure deflected a Saints’ handball in the lead up. Big Charlie can thank his big mate Joel during the break.

The Saints were so good for so much of this half but you can’t let the Swans run wild at any ground, let alone the SCG.

They know these confines so well.
