At the top of the leaderboard, Guido de Bruijn (Agrofair) remains in first place. His predictions were not based on any complex calculations. "I think the longer you think about it, the less likely you are to get it right. Your first instinct is often the best," he says.

Jose Juan Garcia Teruel of Asetir from Almería is in second place, 56 points behind. British horticultural supplier Patrick Harte of CambridgeHOK has climbed to third.

Hans Borsboom (Herik Legal), Mark Libregts (JNV Produce), and Harold van Mastwijk (Lehmann&Troost) now occupy fourth, fifth, and sixth place, while Slim Kooli of the Canadian fruit and vegetable company Courchesne Larose has moved up to seventh.

'Red Devil' Frank Meulewaeter, who works for Beti Ornamental Plants in Ethiopia, has entered the top 10 for the first time in eighth place. Sandro Miglino of the Italian lettuce and herb grower Fratelli Cafaro 1989 has returned to the top 10 in ninth, while chief economist Christian Anton Smedshaug of Landkreditt in Norway rounds out the top 10.

The upcoming matches are Ivory Coast v Norway, France v Sweden, and Mexico v Ecuador. The top 10 predictions are listed below. We'll see tomorrow how accurate they are. The overall winner of the rankings will receive €1,000, but there's still a long way to go.
