Jets CB Qwan'tez Stiggers transported to the hospital after passing out at practice

Jets cornerback Qwan’tez Stiggers was transported in an ambulance to a local hospital after losing consciousness during a joint practice with the Buccaneers.

Jets coach Aaron Glenn said after practice that Stiggers was conscious and talking on the field. Stiggers also received an IV before being taken by stretcher to the waiting ambulance.

The Jets have not updated Stiggers’ condition.

Glenn said Stiggers “came to the sideline, and he just passed out.”

“For the most part, he was good,” Glenn said, via Rich Cimini of ESPN.

The incident stopped the joint practice for 10 minutes.

Stiggers, 24, entered the NFL as a fifth-round pick of the Jets in 2024 after not playing college football. He played one season for the Toronto Argonauts of the CFL.

Stiggers has appeared in 29 games for the Jets, seeing action on 503 special teams snaps and 297 on defense.
