Rohit Sharma score today in India vs. West Indies 1st ODI in Thiruvananthapuram

Rohit Sharma is back in action for Team India and will take the field once again on Sunday as the Men in Blue take on West Indies in the first of the three-match ODI series in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala

Sharma last played for India against England at Lord's, where he scored a brilliant century. Even though India lost the game and conceded the series, Sharma successfully shut down all his critics after the opener had a bad start in the first two games of the contest.

Sharma, along with another former India captain, Virat Kohli, is preparing for the ODI World Cup, which is only a year from now.

The veteran stars, who now play only in the ODI format, will see the upcoming World Cup as their last dance and would hope to end their memorable journey as a cricketer on a bright note and lift the elusive trophy.
