Timber has been spotted there this week doing intensive fitness work with one-to-one trainers, as has free agent Dele Alli, who is still only 30 but has been without a club since the start of September. The detail appeared in an article about Ross Barkley, 32, who was also seen at the venue and has been linked with a possible move to Coventry.Photo by Naomi Baker/Getty ImagesAdvertisementBarkley has another year left on his Aston Villa contract, but the report suggested he is keen to play regular football and Frank Lampard is reportedly eager to sign him.Timber picked up the groin injury against Everton in mid-March and questions will certainly have been asked internally about how he was cleared to feature in the Champions League final against PSG.He played 54 minutes, including extra time.Since joining Arsenal from Ajax in 2023, Timber has missed 78 games for Arsenal and the Netherlands. Of those, 53 were because of the ACL injury he suffered in the first game of his first season at the club.As a result of this injury, and many others, Arsenal have embarked on a complete overhaul of their medical and conditioning teams.Photo by Michael Regan/Getty Images For Premier League
