Kyle Walker is has caught the attention of David Moyes at Everton.

The Burnley right-back has come close to joining the Merseyside club on two occasions but he could finally make the move with boss Moyes interested.

If he joins Everton, it will be for a nominal fee.

Tigers boss Sergej Jakirovic views Azeez as an ideal marquee addition to supercharge their frontline for their top-flight comeback.

Millwall remain desperate to hold out for top dollar after reluctantly sanctioning Esse’s blockbuster departure last year.

Monaco to ditch Pogba

Paul Pogba is reportedly set to have his contract with Monaco TERMINATED.

The former Manchester United midfielder suffered another injury setback this week in the form of a serious thigh strain.

And according to Nice-Matin, the injury has been the catalyst for the Principality club to rip up the Frenchman’s contract.

They claim both parties will reach a financial settlement, which will see the World Cup winner receive the remainder of the salary he’s due for his final year at the Stade Louis II, by September 1.

Rangers bonanza

Rangers chairman Andrew Cavenagh is expecting at least “FIVE” new faces to walk through the Ibrox door before the transfer window closes.

He said: There’s certainly work to be done.

“I don’t like putting a number on it but certainly I’d hope three to five more players are coming in and a number will possibly go out.”

Arsenal monitoring left-back

Man Utd and Arsenal are among several clubs chasing Club Brugge left-back Joaquin Seys.

And Seys is also capturing attention from the likes of Aston Villa and Newcastle, as well as Portuguese giants Benfica and Porto.

Corinthians have TERMINATED the contract they had with Manchester United flop Memphis Depay.

A snippet of a club statement read: “Sport Club Corinthians Paulista has decided not to renew the contract of athlete Memphis Depay.

“This decision was taken solely and exclusively in consideration of the financial health of our institution, which demands rigorous balance and responsibility in the management of available resources.

“We would like to express our deep gratitude to player Memphis Depay and his entire team, who from the start of negotiations sought the best possible agreement.”

Palmer to United talked up

Former Chelsea star believes Cole Palmer is nailed on to join Manchester United in the “future”.

He told iPredicta: “I don’t think Cole Palmer will go right now. I don’t think it’s time to go right now.

“He will definitely go to Manchester United in the future if he’s a big fan, if he’s got a dream to play for Man United, he will definitely go there, but right now I don’t think so.

“I think he needs to have one more big season as he did two years ago, before he got his injury problem, then he might move.”

Jaissle’s Newcastle admission

Matthias Jaissle admits the club are in a state of transition following several high-profile exits from St James’ Park this summer.

The German said: “We are in that transition phase. Everyone knows the players that left the club.

“They were great characters, great, experienced players.

“This is now a vacuum as you call it but that just means that other players have to step in.

“Either, we have to adjust something in the squad by signing these profile of players, or other players need to step up and fill these positions and these leadership roles.

“I am quite optimistic that we can work with both scenarios, and my job is to do the best out of it all.

“Without saying too much, we are aware of what we need and the squad that we want. Internally, everyone is aware of that, and we are working on the solutions.”

Kalvin Phillips latest

Kalvin Phillips is on the brink of a return to Sheffield United on loan.

The Manchester City midfielder spent the second half of last season at Bramall Lane but only managed three appearances before a knee injury curtailed his stint.

This will be his FOURTH loan at City, with him not featuring in the Premier League for the club since 2023, with two years still left on his deal.

Phillips was sold by his boyhood club Leeds United, who are rivals of the Blades, to City in 2022 for £42.5m but has only started two league games for them.

Blades boss Chris Wilder is keen to bring in Phillips for a second time to give him options in midfield while he faces losing Gustavo Hamer to Coventry City.
