Fermanagh take on Armagh in the Ulster SFC as they bid to rekindle their season after suffering relegation to Division Four last month.

It is a tough ask for Declan Bonner’s men, but the Ernemen have a history of pulling off shock results, especially against the Orchard County.

They famously defeated Armagh in the All-Ireland SFC quarter-final of 2004 and, more recently, shocked Kieran McGeeney’s men in the Ulster SFC in 2018.

Armagh were convincing 3-11 to 0-9 winners in their last Championship meeting in 2024 before going on to lift the Sam Maguire later that summer.

The loss of midfielder Ben Crealey to a broken ankle weakens Armagh’s hand and they failed to impress in their extra-time preliminary round win over Tyrone, but they are still strong favourites to account for Fermanagh.
