How to Watch the PSL 11 Player Auction

The 2026 Pakistan Super League (PSL 11) is set to make history today as it stages its first-ever player auction, replacing the traditional draft system that has been in place since the league’s inception.

For the first time in its 11-year history, PSL will use an auction-based model for player recruitment, a major structural shift that comes alongside the addition of two new franchises from Hyderabad and Sialkot, expanding the tournament to eight teams.

How to Watch PSL 11 Auction

The PSL 2026 (PSL 11) player auction is scheduled to begin at 11:30 AM at Lahore’s Expo Center. Cricket fans can watch the PSL 11 auction live through official digital platforms:

The live stream will provide full coverage as franchises bid for players and finalize their squads for the upcoming season.

Key Auction Rules and Squad Requirements

Each franchise was allowed to retain up to four players ahead of the auction, limited to one player from each category: Platinum, Diamond, Gold, and Silver.

During the auction, teams must complete squads comprising a minimum of 16 and a maximum of 20 players. Squads must also include:

At least five and no more than seven overseas players

A minimum of two uncapped Under-23 players

At least one uncapped Under-23 player in the playing XI

All players picked at the PSL 11 auction will be signed on two-year contracts. Looking ahead, the PCB has announced plans to hold a grand auction after the 2027 PSL season, further evolving the league’s recruitment structure. The Multan-based franchise, which was recently sold on February 9, will now operate from Rawalpindi.

The newly relocated Rawalpindi franchise was granted a 24-hour extension to announce its retentions, which it has since completed.
