‘Road to the USA’: United Legends Look Ahead to Scotland’s World Cup

Join United and Scotland legends Kevin Gallacher and Johnny Russell for a special evening as we look ahead to a huge summer for Scotland, with a Dundee United twist!

Proudly sponsored by Mitchell Decorators, ‘Road to the USA’ will take place on Thursday 21 May in the Favela Lounge at the CalForth Construction Arena, bringing supporters together for a night of stories, insight and entertainment ahead of the World Cup.

On The Night

Hosted by STV Radio Football Show producer and fellow Dundee United supporter Callum Bell, the night will see United legends Johnny Russell and Kevin Gallacher take to the stage for an evening of insight, stories and entertainment.

On a night set to build the excitement ahead of a huge summer for Scotland, our Tartan Terrors will share stories from their journeys in the game and their experiences representing the national team, from unforgettable moments in a Scotland shirt to life behind the scenes on the international stage.

With World Cup fever building, the conversation will turn to this summer’s tournament across the USA, Mexico and Canada, with Scotland set to take their place on the global stage for the first time since 1998.

Drawn in a mouth-watering Group C alongside Brazil, Morocco and Haiti, the Tartan Army face a huge test, and our legends will give their thoughts on the challenge ahead while sharing insight on what it takes to perform on football’s biggest stage.

Guests will enjoy a one-course meal and welcome drink on arrival, followed by a live Q&A session, offering the chance to hear directly from both players in an interactive setting.
