Beaming Carole Middleton snaps pictures with F1 superstar at exclusive Wimbledon lunch

Carole Middleton was in A-list company as she made her return to Wimbledon on Monday.

The Princess of Wales's mother took selfies with Formula 1 driver Andrea Kimi Antonelli as she enjoyed an exclusive dinner inside the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club.

Carole, 71, wearing a classic white dress from ME+EM, looked timelessly elegant in the photo, which may have been taken by her daughter, Pippa Middleton, who accompanied her for the day.

The pictures were shared by Cristina Cimino on Instagram, alongside snaps with eight-time Wimbledon champion Roger Federer.

She also gave a sneak peek into the sort of delicacies the royals can enjoy eating at, enjoying a plate of strawberries and cream, complete with flower sprinkles.

Carole looked delighted to take a picture with Italian racing driver Kimi, who competed at the Silverstone circuit over the weekend.

Despite winning pole position for the Grand Prix, Kimi battled mechanical issues on Sunday's race, meaning he came in 15th place. "Not the way I wanted this weekend to end," the Mercedes driver wrote on Instagram afterwards.

Carole Middleton and Pippa return to Wimbledon

Carole and Pippa both looked stunning when they made their return to SW19 for 2026 on Monday.

Pippa was dressed for the heatwave, wearing a dazzling new summery sundress from Reformation. She chose the 'Naira' dress with a poppy print from the popular brand, which costs £278.

Just like her sister Kate, Pippa has always been a longtime tennis fan. The mother of three told Vanity Fair in 2013: "I first went to Wimbledon when I was eight years old and already a very keen tennis player."

Carole, meanwhile, paired her white tunic dress with a blue linen blazer, adding a bag and sunglasses from Longchamp.

Carole's return to Wimbledon comes after she supported Kate throughout her Three Peaks challenge, joining her husband Michael Middleton, son James, and the Waleses to greet her at the bottom of Mount Snowdon.

Carole dressed to impress in an olive green jacket by Fjällräven, a pair of cargo pants from J.Crew, and a Baker Boy cap in a striking stone shade.

It was very similar to styles previously worn by her daughter Kate, who wore the 'It-girl' accessory with a Barbour jacket in 2013.

She brought the look back more recently for a moving post for her birthday in January.
