He stamped his mark on Brentford, playing some brilliant football and challenging for a top-six finish, beating Manchester United, Liverpool and Aston Villa along the way.Mikel Arteta (Arsenal)P36 W24 D7 L5 GF68 GA26 GD+42What a season for Arteta’s Arsenal, who have led from the front for most of the campaign in their quest for a first Premier League title since the Invincibles' famous triumph in 2003/04. The Spaniard claimed his eighth Barclays Manager of the Month award in March having overseen a perfect month. Despite a dip in April, he re-galvanised his squad to qualify for their first UEFA Champions League final in 20 years, and also string together three consecutive wins to nil to keep the destiny of the title in their own hands after a trio of second-place finishes.Michael Carrick (Man Utd)P15 W10 D3 L2 GF27 GA16 GD+11Man Utd were sitting in sixth place in the Premier League when Carrick took over as head coach after Ruben Amorim left in mid-January, but he has overseen a stunning run of form, taking the Red Devils to third place and Champions League football next season. A 2-0 win over Manchester City kick-started his spell at the helm and set the tone for what was to follow, as Carrick masterminded victories over teams including Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Spurs. Since he took the reins, United are first in the Premier League form table, earning 33 of their 65 points under his stewardship in only 15 of their 36 matches.Pep Guardiola (Man City)P36 W23 D8 L5 GF75 GA32 GD+43Guardiola is in the running for his sixth Barclays Manager of the Season award, the second-most behind legendary Man Utd manager, Sir Alex Ferguson, who won it 10 times during his career as a Premier League boss. The Spaniard won the February and April Barclays Manager of the Month award - his 12th and 13th such accolades - the third-most in history behind Ferguson's 27 and just two fewer than former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger's record of 15.Andoni Iraola (AFC Bournemouth)P36 W13 D16 L7 GF56 GA52 GD+4The Spaniard has enjoyed a fantastic third season with Bournemouth, who are flying high in sixth spot and seeking to qualify for European competition next season. Last summer Iraola helped the Cherries seamlessly absorb the sales of key players Dean Huijsen, Illia Zabarnyi, Milos Kerkez, Dango Ouattara and, then midway through the season, star attacker Antoine Semenyo, developing young talent such as Junior Kroupi - the second-highest scoring teenager in Europe's top five leagues and exciting Brazilian winger Rayan.Regis Le Bris (Sunderland)P36 W12 D12 L12 GF37 GA46 GD-9Following an exceptional first season at Sunderland where he guided the Black Cats to promotion to the Premier League, Le Bris has continued to work wonders at the Stadium of Light, overseeing a possible top-half finish and outside chance of European qualification. Nominated three times for the Barclays Manager of the Month award in August, September and March, the Frenchman also became only the second Sunderland manager to win each of his first two league games against rivals Newcastle United.Watch each manager's season highlightsAlso in this series
